The cables used for cutting to length are typically supplied in boxes or on reels. Rapid feed speeds often cause the cable to twist or tangle. The DR 30 solves this problem by gently accelerating and decelerating the turntable. The cables are fed to the LC 100 cutting unit smoothly and under constant tension. When different cable types are used, the turntable—along with the coil of cable—can be changed quickly and easily.
