Stripped insulation scraps fall into a removable waste container. After stripping, the conductor is ready for the crimping of wire ferrules or other contacts. The “partial stripping” function meets the requirement to prepare conductors from a cable or wire bundle for further processing by cutting the insulation without fully removing the cut section. During subsequent processing, the cut section of insulation is removed manually, and the contact is crimped onto the conductors. Its compact design, low weight, and carrying handle make it easy to transport to any workstation.
